General description:
The Raspberries shall be prepared, processed, packaged and handled under strict hygienic conditions consistent with the principles of good manufacturing practices.
B. Process of manufacture:
(1) Raspberries are clearly washed before frozen and metal detected before packed.
(2) Raspberries are of the size 12-20mm, or the size Buyer requests.
(3) Raspberries are individually quick frozen, later the core temperate of each one reaches minus 18DC.
(4) Raspberries are packed in food grade polylined cartons then stored at minus 18DC.or less till dispatch to end users.
C. Packing:
(1)Pack size: 1X30lbs per carton; 1X10kg per carton or as buyer's request.
(2)Pack type: Corrugated export standard outer case, no nails, flaps are to be sealed with self adhesive freezer stable tape,the cartons is water proof, new polythene food grade liner.
(3)Labeling: Product Description, Country of Origin, Weight, Product Date (dd-mm-yy), Best Before date.(or as client's request)
D. Parameters of approval:
Size: 12-20mm, or as the buyer's request.
Brix: >7.0
Color: the typical red.
Taste and flavor: typical of raspberry, without any off-taste.
Foreign bodies and others: absent.
E. Microbiological conditions:
Product is free from additives and preservatives.
